An Art Therapy, EMDR and Psychotherapy practice in Comox, BC.
Connect with your inner wisdom and creatively bridge your conscious and unconscious worlds.

Hello, Im Michaela.
I am a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) and Professional Art Therapist, holding a Master’s degree in Psychotherapy with a specialization in Art Therapy. I specialize in Somatic Attachment-Focused EMDR and offer in-person and virtual sessions from my studio in beautiful Comox, BC.
My work is grounded in trauma-informed, body-based healing and in the belief that each person carries an innate capacity for healing. I offer a warm, relational space where safety, curiosity, and compassion guide the therapeutic process. Together, we work toward restoring connection—to your body, your relationships, and your authentic Self.
I work with individuals experiencing PTSD, relational and developmental trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders, including survivors of childhood trauma such as sexual, physical, emotional abuse, neglect, and abandonment. My approach supports deeper and lasting healing by addressing both the nervous system and the inner emotional landscape where trauma lives.

EXPERIENCE
I have had the privilege to walk with many individuals, including children, who were healing from complex trauma and abuse.
